Engineering Updates
- Deployed a new subgraph covering the MPond token contract and the governance mechanisms.
- New version of marlinctl has been released with better management interfaces and new commands available. Includes Polkadot gateways which have been ported over from the old marlinctl.
- Cosmos gateways have been updated to work with the new v0.34 Tendermint core based full nodes. Currently being tested before release.
- Change the existing transport stack to use the new scaffolds. Cuts down on a lot of repetitive boilerplate code and hotspots for bugs.
- Modify the bridge to print the identity address instead of the identity key incorrectly.
- Add a zero-overhead Fabric proof-of-concept as a significantly better foundation for the networking stack based on past learnings. Will enable much simpler, modular and better performing stacks than the current transport based networking stack once things are migrated over.
- Witnessers are configurable and are explicitly specified for eth gateways and relays. Fixes a past regression due to changed defaults.
- Started wrapping libuv’s handles into non-movable types to enable extra data storage as well as preventing bugs due to moving them.
Community Updates
- Announcement of the partner sale with Cere Network!
Cere Network gave the Marlin community30 whitelist spots for their upcoming main sale on Republic. Selected participants have been contacted by the Cere Network team via email.
Over 420 million POND has been staked in the form of MPond (385 MPond equivalent to 385 million POND) and POND (36 million POND) tokens. This is up from the 340 million POND staked since our last biweekly update. Stats can be found here (build by one of our community members).
