Ankr is an infrastructure platform and marketplace for Web3-stack deployment. It enables the most non-technical of users to easily run blockchain nodes with a single click - something that requires hours if not days of setup time, security considerations and very often dedicated devops personnel.
Supporting more than 40 blockchain protocols for staking and developing with 8000+ nodes deployed, Ankr provides token holders an opportunity to stake their tokens on their own validators and permits developers to rely on their own full nodes affordably across the globe, making crypto-networks far more decentralized.
Marlin is a layer-0 superhighway connecting blockchain nodes enabling low-latency delivery of blocks and transactions between validators, full nodes and traders, thus, accelerating DeFi and Web 3.
Shared thesis
Ankr and Marlin share a common vision of decentralized networks not being limited to a few staking companies, mining pools or API providers. Instead, operating nodes should be easy and economical enough for any interested participant to be able to do so. It not only delivers users the sovereignty they are promised but also makes networks resilient against targeted or untargeted attacks by governments or service providers.
The network layer is an important component of this endeavour. After all, undoing the physical concentration of nodes and diversifying them entails a performance cost if not thoughtfully mitigated. Marlin addresses such scalability vs decentralization tradeoffs at the network layer by optimization communication in peer-to-peer platforms.
Towards a shared future
As Marlin launches its Larvanet, Ankr will help users run Marlin nodes and gateways with its 1-click deployment solutions. Marlin users will be able to deploy blockchain nodes in minutes.
The Ankr partnership will make Marlin's node development process more cheaper and affordable, as well as allow for easy deployment across geographies.
As more Marlin gateways are deployed, there will be an influx of new Ethereum, Cosmos, Tezos, Polkadot nodes that interact with the Marlin network increasing network effects. Eventually, more block producers will start sending and receiving blocks from Marlin while full nodes operating on Ankr infrastructure will gain access to a low-latency transaction relay benefiting DeFi traders and arb bots alike.
The Ankr integration helps us move one step closer to our vision of a decentralized web where applications secured via blockchain are indistinguishable in terms of performance to Web 2.0.
About Ankr
Ankr provides Web3 infrastructure for easy, accessible and affordable deployment of any blockchain node across the globe and decentralized staking infrastructure, all designed to lower the entry barrier for everyday people, enterprises, and developers to contribute to blockchain ecosystems.
Ankr’s product line includes:

About Marlin Protocol
Marlin is an open protocol that provides a high-performance programmable network infrastructure for DeFi and Web 3.0. Marlin aims to deliver on the promise of a decentralized web where applications secured via the blockchain are indistinguishable in terms of performance to users accustomed to Web 2.0. Marlin is backed by a prominent group of stakeholders including Electric Capital, Michael Arrington, DHVC, Fenbushi and the leading cryptocurrency exchange, Binance.
